Origins Therapy

At Origins, we know that any healing relationship is based on mutual trust. This is why we create therapeutic relationships with caring conversations in a comfortable, relaxed environment. Safe conversations, without judgment.

Our therapist, Eva Shelby, begins by exploring how you got here -- your joys, your sorrows, your fears and aspirations. Gradually, she explores more deeply-rooted issues -- the ones that are limiting your ability to express more of who you really are -- the ones that are keeping you from experiencing more happiness in your life.

Eva creates a safe, caring relationship that honors your unique nature. Through regular sessions, your relationship and mutual trust becomes the foundation for insightful explorations and significant growth. She uses a variety of approaches in the therapeutic process, depending upon your specific needs. Eva may discuss strategies for overcoming anxiety or depression. Perhaps some practice in developing boundaries. Maybe some shamanic approaches to gain strength and confidence, or exercises in mindfulness to develop greater awareness.

Sometimes healing occurs rapidly. Sometimes a new perspective is needed. Deep Memory Process is good for this. It takes you outside your usual experience and gives you a chance to see things from a different point of view.
